From the Bishop's Desk
On behalf of the Pastor Bishop Darryl Shaw, and The Rivers of Living Waters Ministry, Inc., we greet you in the name of our God and Father Jesus Christ. We welcome you to let the Word of God bring truth into your life so you may be strengthened in His glorious power, grow in spiritual understanding, and be filled with knowledge and prosperity. If you don't have a church home, we invite you to fellowship with us.
I am hoping that all of you will embrace this Church manual. It will supply you with answers to all of the basic doctrinal questions of the Church; and enable you to give answers to yourself and others who might inquire about your faith.
I am dependent upon your continued prayers, and support to help me finish the work that our Lord Jesus Christ has given me to do.

The Apostle's Doctrine
Thus, it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day; and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.
And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high (Luke 24:46-49).
But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).
Teaching of the Word, and utilization of the gifts that God has given unto us to meet our destiny in Christ Jesus. That we may obtain the promises of God for us as individuals, our ministry, our family, and the people of God.

Preamble
The purpose of the preamble is to help the congregation to understand the pur-pose, policies and procedures of The Rivers of Living Waters Ministry, Our goal is to provide a spiritual atmosphere where people can come and experience the power of God through life changing methods. We believe that the beginning of everything starts with a high profile Ministry. It is assumed that a high profile prayer ministry is the absolute in the Church growth process. A Church must constantly call upon the Lord for His leadership, direction, insight and power.
The Pastor is the Key
The role of the Pastor and Professional Staff is the vital key to the success of any Church, and when one seriously analyzes what must transpire in the life of a Church to enable it to accomplish the God intended purpose, one must come to the conclusion that the Pastor is the Key. This presumption is verified when one looks at a Church that is not maximizing its potential, and has sporadic growth spurts, we may come to the conclusion that the primary change was the Pastor. Over and over the experience has been that nothing changed but the Pastoral leadership. The people did not change, the community did not change, the Church facilities did not change, and for sure God did not change.
So the only thing that changed was the Pastor, the Church called a new shepherd and leader. The new Pastor filled the role of the Pastor and leader and lead the lay members in the program of outreach ministry. There are many other factors involved that lead to the Church not growing, but the Pastor is the key. This is the price of leadership, and it is also the reason that the Pastor has a very special calling and a special responsibility, and burden for the Church accomplishing its purpose. The main role of the Pastor and the other Professional staff is to be Administrators with the Pastor being the Chief Administra-tor. The larger the Church the more the Pastor and Staff are called upon to fill this role.

What To Expect
A typical service will last about 90 minutes. We sing a mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. The words to the music is displayed on the big screen so you can sing along even if you don't know the words. Childcare is available and children's church for the young people. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.
